Kajol gets Annoyed after being questioned about GST on sanitary pads

Actress Kajol was present at 'Swacch Aadat Swacch Bharat' initiative yesterday and has also become an advocacy ambassador of the same. She is known to be an active supporter of eradicating preventable deaths from hygiene-related issues.

At the event, during the media interaction, Kajol was questioned by a reporter whether sanitary pads should not be taxed with GST. To which she instantly reacted stating, "Again I don't have the financial expertise to speak about it". As soon as she completed this, the reporter interrupted her which annoyed Kajol and she lashed at him stating, "One second. Let me finish. You have asked me a question, wait for my answer".

She further continued saying, "So, I don't think I have the financial expertise to discuss GST. I really don't. I am an actor otherwise I would be doing another job somewhere. As far as women sanitary napkins are concerned, I think they have put a tax on milk and rice as well. It's not they are tax-free. It's really up to the government as to what they see fit and how they see fit to tax things".
