Juhi Parmar's return to Kumkum, still a mystery!

Star Plus’ afternoon saga Kumkum Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan hit an emotional high last week, with the death of the protagonists, Sumit and Kumkum. With the couple vowing to reunite again, the track in the serial is poised for a reincarnation.

Telly Buzz managed to get an insight on the story ahead from Rajesh Chadha, Supervising Producer, who said, “We will now focus on the re-birth which is to happen this week. This will get us to a phase wherein the new families of Sumit and Kumkum will be introduced.” When asked about the entry of Juhi and Husein into the thick of things, Rajesh Chadha says, “Well, as you know Juhi wanted a much-needed break to get in shape after a hectic schedule for this many years. She is now at Mysore, enjoying her break. We want to play around with the new characters for little while, and see how the audience takes it.”

But don’t you think the absence of Husein and Juhi from the serial for a long time will hit on the TRPs? “As of now, we have two options open. Let us see how it goes. If the viewers are not able to take the story line revolving around the new families for long, then we will probably work on introducing a new character”, states Rajesh Chaddha. But when asked whether Juhi is expected to stay away for long, Rajesh Chadha quips, “She will come back when the story demands her entry”.

Though the production house as well as Juhi, claim that the actress is on a temporary revitalizing break, it looks as though no one is sure when the serial will get back its ‘Kumkum’ aka Juhi Parmar!!
