Juhi Babbar debuts on television..

Juhi Babbar, daughter of Raj Babbar is debuting on television with Red Chillies Idiot Box and NDTV Imagine show Ghar Ki Baat Hai where she will be paired opposite Sumeet Raghavan.

"It feels great to be back on screen after almost ten years. I had tons of offers for years and years, but God always made me say no, but today I know the reason as he wanted me to do something big", says Juhi.

What was the reason for coming on TV? "It was a good offer and when Bhavana, the Creative approached me with the concept, I just couldn't say no to it. This show is a tribute to Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi. People like Aziz uncle and the director Anant Mahadevan are associated with the project, so in no way could I deny this offer", she adds further.

Talking about her character Radhika she quips, "The on screen character is very much similar to me. She likes sales, chatting on phone and also loves her brother. The only difference is that Radhika is little dumb and I'm not".

Were you nervous to work on small screen? "Though the industry is new for me, I was and will never be nervous, as my parents have taught me to work with sincerity. If you do that, then there is no reason to fear", exclaims the girl.

She feels great to work with her co-stars and states that, "They make me feel so comfortable, and working with them is great. It's like a family where I sense that working with Swapnil is similar to that of working with Arya my brother".

These few months were not great for Juhi as she went through divorce. "After that bad phase, each and every day was good in my life by the grace of God and by the grace of my parents", she concludes.

The writers of the different episodes of Ghar Ki Baat Hai  include Kanika Dhillon, Rahul Varun and Jaydeep Sarkar.

All we can say is that it's a new start in Juhi's life and we wish her luck.
