John Abraham and Priya Runchal test positive for Covid- 19

John Abraham and wife Priya Runchal have tested positive for COVID-19. The actor stated in a statement that they have both been vaccinated and are only experiencing minor symptoms. 

Taking to Instagram, John shared an official statement with his fans, saying, 'I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven't been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experience mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up.'

The actor recently made headlines after it was widely assumed that his Instagram handle had been hacked. Despite the hype, he recently dropped the 'Attack' teaser on his Instagram account, clearing the air. In 'Attack,' John will appear alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. It will be directed by Lakshya Raj Anand and will be released on January 28, 2021. 

Apart from that, John will be seen for the first time in Siddharth Anand's 'Pathan,' in which he will share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. He's also been cast in Mohit Suri's 'Ek Villain Returns.' Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani will also play lead roles in the film.
