Jogi trailer out: The Diljit Dosanjh's pulse-pounding drama will give you goosebumps

Yesterday's glitzy event that Netflix hosted to announce its upcoming movies was a super hit. Post that, today Netflix shared the trailer of Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film 'Jogi'. 

Jogi is the story of a strong relationship and bravery in the face of adversity is  which is set in Delhi in 1984. The film is a thrilling, touching tale about the perseverance of three linked friends.

Diljit Dosanjh, Kumud Mishra, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Hiten Tejwani, and Amyra Dastur are among the actors who appear in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed and -produced movie. 

Diljit Dosanjh joined the event virtually, joining director Ali Abbas Zafar, producer Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and star Amyra Dastur in attendance, at yesterday's event.

Following the launch of the trailer, actor Diljit Dosanjh said, “As an actor you want to grow with the character you play. Each role I play, helps me grow within. Mera agar dil nahi maanta toh wo kirdaar main nibha nahi sakta. I have to be honestly connected to the character. Jogi holds a special place in my heart and I say it with pride that this has been told on a global platform like Netflix which has huge reach & impact.”

He added, “I am forever thankful and grateful for all my fans who make me who I am and I wish they like me in and as Jogi. Unfortunately, I could not be there today but this is my first film on Netflix and the subject is very important to me as you will see in the trailer and I am eagerly waiting to hear all of your thoughts and reviews of the trailer!”

Jogi will make its debut exclusively on Netflix in more than 190 countries on September 16, 2022.
