Jjhoom India's countdown to the Grand Finale

This weekend's episode begins with the ousting of Shekhar Suman and Sunjeevani from the show Jjhoom leaving three fantastic jodis competing for spots in the grand finale. On Saturday 5th Jan, Jjhoom India's top three jodis - Roshni Chopra - Vinod Rathod, Sachin Tyagi – Madhushree and Varun Badola - Akriti Kakar, will be seen rendering some scintillating performances. With the competition getting tougher and just two weeks left for the grand finale, the three amazing teams have really worked hard to train their voices to reach this far.

But this week’s episode has a twist to it, there will be two rounds instead of the usual one. Round 1 is Judge’s Choice wherein the jury will be seen giving the jodis three song options. Jodis will have to choose one song from among the three and perform it impromptu.

Round 2 will have our actors rendering solo performances, but, here the co-contestants will be the ones giving a two song option to the actors. The actor then makes a choice and gives a solo performance.

The show starts off with an exceptionally good performance by Roshni Chopra and Vinod Rathod singing“Damadam Mast Kalandar” (Sung by Runa Laila) followed by an amazing performance by Sachin Tyagi and Madhushree singing “Aankhon ki gustakhiyan” (film - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) and Varun Badola and Akriti Kakkar giving an equally impressive performance with “In dino dil mera” (film - Life in a metro) in Round 1.

Round 2 has the actors rendering some great solo performances with Roshni Chopra singing “Raat Akeli Hai” (film – Jewel Thief) with subsequent performances by Sachin Tyagi singing “Laye Bina Gayi” (film - Chalte Chalte) and Varun Badola singing the title track of “Kachhe Dhagge”.
