Jhanvi Kapoor's REACTION after hearing about Mom Sridevi's death

As reported earlier, Jhanvi Kapoor couldn't accompany her family for her cousin brother, Mohit Marwah's wedding in Dubai as she was busy with the shooting of her debut film "Dhadak".

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor along with their younger daughter Khushi Kapoor left for Dubai, UAE to attend the wedding festivities, while their elder daughter continued with her work.

But, on the fateful night of February 24, 2018, the Hindi film industry lost one of it's brightest star, Sridevi. Bollywood's first female superstar left for heavenly abode after succumbing to a major cardiac arrest.

Reportedly, Boney Kapoor was besides the actress when she breathed her last.

Her elder daughter Jhanvi who was busy with her shooting was not aware about the news of her dear mother passing away.

Jhanvi was very close to Sridevi, she would never do anything without taking her mommy's permission. So breaking the news to her was a big thing.

It was Karan Johar who decided to inform Jhanvi, whom he is currently preparing for her debut film that will be produced under his banner.

KJo went to Jhanvi and very patiently broke the news to her. Jhanvi was taken aback and was in a complete state of shock. She couldn't take in the news and was not ready to accept the fact that her mom is now no more.

KJo then took her to Anil Kapoor's house and tried to console her.

Sridevi, was a doting mother to both her daughters. She was very strict with them but loved them equally. She was very much attached to Jhanvi and it was her wish to see her rule the silver screens.

However, her wish to see her daughter shine in Bollywood, will now never be fulfilled.
