Jhanak escapes on the day of her wedding to Vihaan

Tonight's Jhanak episode begins with the village head arriving with others. He demands that Vihaan show the marriage certificate. Vihaan responds, questioning why they are meddling in his personal life. The village head asserts that he won't allow anyone to tarnish the reputation of the village. Ketki admits that something wrong occurred, but she intends to make things right. Aniruddha tells Arshi that she must be satisfied now. Arshi replies that the truth must come out and asks how anyone can hide their true identity. Aniruddha reproaches her for disturbing Jhanak and Vihaan's peace. Arshi claims she doesn't believe their marriage ever took place and insists it should happen.

Ketki confronts Vihaan, asking if he married Jhanak. Jhanak responds that her marriage with Vihaan never took place. The village head asks how Vihaan can live with Jhanak without marriage. Vihaan reveals how he met Jhanak and brought her to his house, reminding Ketki that he didn't sleep in his own room. He adds that Jhanak will leave soon.

Ketki presses further, questioning if the police are after Jhanak. She accuses Jhanak of doing something wrong and tells Vihaan that they can take care of Ahaan without her. Priyanshi enters the scene, and Ketki scolds her. Praveen Kumar explains that he brought Priyanshi from the competition venue, where she secured second place. Jhanak praises Priyanshi for her achievement.

Arshi tells Praveen Kumar that Jhanak is not the daughter-in-law of their household. Vihaan defends Jhanak, reminding Arshi that she is her sister. Arshi states she never accepted Jhanak as her sister. Jhanak responds, saying she no longer wants Arshi as her sister. She tells Ketki that she only came for Ahaan and doesn't need to stay any longer. The village head threatens to call the police. However, Praveen Kumar reassures everyone, stating that Jhanak has never caused harm and has cared for Ahaan. He invites Jhanak to come with him to his house, but Priyanshi insists that Jhanak should stay.

Vihaan tells Jhanak that she is his responsibility, and he considers her his Avni. He offers to marry her if she agrees. Aniruddha suggests that Jhanak should marry Vihaan. Jhanak asks Aniruddha not to interfere with her decisions. She acknowledges that she'll miss Ahaan, but that doesn't mean she'll marry Vihaan. She tells Vihaan that she doesn't want sympathy. Vihaan reassures her that it's not sympathy and asks her again if she will marry him.

Aniruddha asks Ketki if she will accept Jhanak and Vihaan's relationship if they get married. Ketki replies that she will have to accept it for the sake of the family's reputation. Prachi suggests that Jhanak can't give her answer in front of everyone. She proposes starting the marriage preparations. Jhanak walks away, and Aniruddha assures her that Vihaan will make her happy. Arshi inquires whether Jhanak still has hope, and Jhanak responds that they will find out soon as she leaves the room.

The following day, Jhanak tells Ahaan that she cannot go through with the marriage to Vihaan and must leave. She explains that despite the preparations for the wedding, it’s impossible for her to marry anyone else because her heart belongs to someone else. She asks Ahaan to take care of himself as she makes her decision to leave. She writes a letter for Vihaan. Mehek urges Jhanak to come out, but Jhanak asks for two more minutes. Sejal is surprised that Jhanak is still taking time to get ready despite everything that has happened. She urges Jhanak to come out. Prachi also asks Jhanak to open the door, and Sejal worries whether Jhanak has fainted. Prachi speculates that Jhanak might have fainted, given she hasn't eaten all day. They go to fetch Vihaan. Jhanak finally emerges from her room.
