Jersey: Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer gets a release date

'Jersey' has been one of the most talked about films from Bollywood right since it first went into production. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor in pivotal roles, the movie has been directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is presented by Allu Aravind, produced by Dil Raju, S Naga Vamsi & Aman Gill.

It was last year that the movie's release date witnessed a couple of pushes, however, its December 31, 2021 release was postponed indefinitely and no reason was known about the same. However, it looks like the film has finally found a new release and is now all set to release in theatres on 14th April 2022

The movie has already witnessed multiple delays and fans of the release can now hope that this would be the last and final one.

Interestingly, for the movie, it means that the film will have a box office clash with KGF: Chapter 2. Earlier, the makers of Aamir Khan starrer 'Laal Singh Chaddha' had also zeroed in on April 14 but the movie is now releasing on August 11, 2022.

Meanwhile, 'KGF: Chapter 2' has also been one of the most awaited films of the year and apart from Yash, it also stars Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
