Jaya Prada: Sridevi's Dream was to see her daughters Rule the screen

A true superstar in all senses; the icon's stellar acting skills and off-screen aura will forever be unmatched. According to recent forensic reports, Sridevi breathed her last at 11:30 pm and a case of accidental drowning have been registered.

Bollywood industry is mourning the death of this iconic actress and Jaya Prada in an interview to Mid-Day spoke about how Sridevi's demise is a bad dream.

Jaya expressed, "News of her demise seems like a bad dream. I couldn't believe it till I saw it on news channels. We worked together in several films like Tohfa (1984). She was a wonderful actor and mother. It was her dream to see her daughters (Jhanvi and Khushi) rule the silver screen - just like she did".

Jaya's love and admiration for her daughters are known to all. Today, in a post by ace photographer Daboo Ratnani's wife Manisha Ratnani revealed that, "  @sridevi.kapoor Last month we had a long emotional chat about how kids grow up so fast and u asked me if @dabbooratnani could do a shoot with you & kids again after @janhvikapoor 's movie releases @khushi05k  I wish I could turn back the time & fulfill your wish...
