Jai Mehta's show on SAB TV...

Jai Productions, makers of Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka and Solhah Singaar is coming up with a comedy-based show on SAB TV.

The untitled show will be a daily at a prime time slot, and will launch sometime in September.

According to our source, "The show will be of comic genre and will be based on a family, headed by Apara Mehta and Anang Desai. The couple has three sons of which the eldest and the youngest are married while the middle boy who is unmarried plays the main protagonist".

"Ujwal Rana who earlier played Samman in Sahara One's Ghar Ek Sapnaa will be making a comeback to television with this show. He will be playing the main protagonist. Mitika Sharma who played Anusha in Star Plus' Santaan will be seen in a new comic avtar", says our source.

When contacted, Apara Mehta said, "Yes, they have approached me for the show, but nothing is confirmed".

Mitika and Anang Desai refused to comment. Ujwal Rana was unavailable for comment.

We tried calling Producer Jai Mehta and even sent a text message to him, but he remained unavailable for comments.
