Jacqueline breaks her silence on her alleged fight with Alia Bhatt

Talking about her cat-fight with Alia, Jacqueline said she felt very hurt.

As known to all, young actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been allegedly dating for quite a while now. Although the rumoured couple never agreed to their relationship, their PDA has a different story to tell.

Everything was going all about love between Alia - Sidharth until Sidharth started filming with Jacqueline Fernandez that brought trouble to their paradise. Till the release of the film, actors Sidharth and Jacqueline were being linked to each other which made Alia upset.

Later, rumours of Jacqueline - Alia indulging in a cat-fight and unfollowing each other from their social media accounts started doing rounds. However, at a recent Diwali party, the two actresses posted a cute picture together which cleared the air of their catfight.

In a recent interview, Jacqueline spoke about how the media highlighted her issue with Alia. She expressed, "It is sad. Honestly, I felt very hurt. It's the same media and same people that ask you, 'why don't you do more female-oriented roles? What are you doing for women's rights?' And it is the same female reporter who asks, 'what about your catfight with Alia?' I was like, 'you are a woman and how could you even ask me that. Shouldn't you be uplifting us as actresses?' Sonam Kapoor went through the same thing. Sometimes, I feel the only thing I get written about is that I'm dating someone or that I'm in a catfight".

Revealing about her relationship status, Jacqueline said, "I haven't dated anyone (for a long time). I am so focused on my work right now that those things are not my priorities. I feel so hurt that just because I am an actress, people think those are my priorities. We are working hard, and running our families and our houses on our own. I wish they would grow up".
