It's official: Sanjay Dutt is married to Manyata

Mumbai, Feb 9 (IANS) It's official now. Manyata Saturday admitted that she has formally married her long-time boyfriend, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt.

The actor had earlier denied reports that they were married. However, reports were doing the rounds after the couple jointly issued an advertisement in newspapers congratulating Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on his 82nd birthday last month.

IANS had earlier reported that the duo had a low-profile registered marriage in the presence of family members and close friends.

Dutt was always expected to tie the knot with Manyata alias Shehnaaz Shaikh, once a Bollywood starlet who has been seen with him during the highs and lows in his personal and professional life.

Ever since the 'Munnabhai' star, convicted in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case last year, was released from his latest jail stint in November, Manyata has been constantly seen with him at all public events, including his film shoots.
