It's Mishal Raheja to wed Nakusha...

Nakusha's (Mahi Vij) transformation episode wherein her real beauty comes out in the open will be aired tonight in COLORS' Laagi Tujhse Lagan, produced by Playtime Creations. And it is a coincidence of sorts that on the same day, the production house and channel have finally zeroed in on the actor to play the main lead in the show!!
   
Yes, you heard it right, as the actor to essay the rough and tough role of Dutta Patil, who will eventually go on to marry Nakusha has been finalized. And winning the race is Mishal Raheja who makes a comeback to television after few years.

Telly Buzz had reported few days back that Mishal Raheja and Rohit Bakshi were the two options that the channel and production house had narrowed down to. Mishal was last seen in SAB TV's Love Story, while Rohit Bakshi played the lead in Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur.

According to our source, "Things did not work out with Rohit Bakshi; hence Mishal Raheja has been finalized for the role. He is said to have signed the papers today, and will start shooting for the show very soon".

However, there is still time for the entry of the male lead to happen. As per our source, the guy will be staging an entry only after 10-12 episodes from now.

"Dutta Patil the male lead is heard to be a guy who will have connections with the underworld dons of the city. Auditions are on for another strong character in the show, who happens to be the right hand of Dutta Patil. As of now, Vishal Singh of Kasamh Se fame has been short listed for the role. However, a final decision on this has not been taken", informs our source.

However, when contacted, Mishal Raheja rubbished the news of his confirmation and said, "I have not heard at all from them after I gave my auditions. I do not know from where you got this news. If I get a positive response, I will surely let you know".

Producer Hemal Thakkar too maintained that, "Nothing has been finalized yet. We still have the options open, and we will be able to tell you in two days time".

As for now, all eyes are glued to Nakusha's makeover….
