It's Dev V/s Sir John in Palampur Express..

Sony's Palampur Express will see a major confrontation happening in the form of a race, between the newly joined coach Sir John (Siddharth Vasudev) and Dev (Hiten Tejwani) in the coming week!!

Sir John who has joined Ila Singh's Sports Academy happens to be Dev's competitor from the past.

According to our source, "In the past, Dev and Sir John were dead rivals, competing against each other to get successful as a runner. However, Dev's accident puts to halt his successful career, while Sir John has got all the name, fame and recognition and is known as a world renowned athlete".

Now that Sir John is into the Academy, he wants to humiliate Dev even more, and throws to him a challenge of running a race with him. "The stage is set for a running race between Sir John and the handicapped Dev. This will be a big turning point in the story line, as Dev will exhibit the best of sportsman spirit, by overcoming his handicap and running the race. To him, winning or losing does not matter, but it is all in the eagerness to compete even when he is handicapped", adds our source.

The shoot for the race sequence is going on, and will be telecast next week.

If sources are to be believed, the immense will power shown by Dev in running this race will slowly make an impact in Pavni's mind too.

On the other hand, Sir John has an ulterior motive of getting closer to Pavni, for the wrong reasons. But Pavni who is unaware of Sir John's flirtatious character, wants him to coach her and make her into a professional.

When contacted, Hiten Tejwani tells us, "I don't have much detail about the race. All that I know is that Sir John will challenge me, and I accept it".

We tried calling Siddharth Vasudev, but he remained unavailable for comments.
