'It was the makers' decision': Aly Goni on not being a part of Laughter Chefs 2

Laughter Chefs, one of the most beloved and hilarious cooking reality shows, continues to captivate audiences with its entertaining blend of cooking and comedy. The new season, which premiered on January 25, 2025, introduces fresh faces like Vicky Jain, Mannara Chopra, and more. Still, fans are missing the presence of some popular stars from Season 1, including Arjun Bijlani, Aly Goni, and Karan Kundrra.

Aly Goni, in particular, has been greatly missed by his co-stars, like Rahul, and his fans. India Forums contacted Aly to understand his feelings about not being part of Laughter Chefs this season. He shared, "Even I am missing being there in the show. Seeing so many comments and tweets, I feel overwhelmed. I love that show; it's very close to my heart."

When asked why he was absent from the second season, Aly simply explained, "It was the makers' decision."

In the first season, Aly became famous for his unique cooking style, with contestants often copying his dishes. The show even saw a pattern where either Aly himself won or the contestant who managed to replicate his dishes the best emerged victorious.
