The trailer for the upcoming film Mandali has been released online, which stars Rajniesh Duggall, Brijendra Kala, Aanchal Munjal and Abhishek Duhan in prominent roles.

Directed by Rakesh Chaturvedi Om, the film is billed as a satirical take on the exploitation of Ramleela's play by incorporating obscene dances in small towns for financial gain and everyday morals. It's a captivating theme about the blurring lines of virtue and righteousness in this modern-age world portrayed through the characters of Ramleela, which will be released on October 27, 2023 in theatres.

Actor Abhishek Duhan and Aanchal Munjal get candid about their role and working experience in the film during the trailer launch.

Abhishek Duhan shares, "The story is about the struggle of my character, who perseveres to win against all odds and win against the evils in society. Mandali mirrors the journey of a man and his struggle to uphold righteousness in times of diminishing social conscience and the downfall of cultural and traditional values through the protagonist, Pursottam Choubey, aka Puru, who is played by me. He portrays Laxman in Ramleela plays with utmost pride."

Actress Aanchal Munjal added, "It's a very different concept, which is not a regular Ramayana film but inspired by Ramleela. I'm essaying the character of Bunty, who is very outgoing and bubbly in nature. She is very supportive of her partner. It was such a lovely experience shooting for the film in Mathura, and I really enjoyed it."

Produced by Prashant Kumar Gupta, Geetika Gupta and Neetu Sabarwal of Reltic Pictures, the film also stars an ensemble cast of Vineet Kumar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Alka Amin, Ashwath Bhatt, Saharsh Shukla and Neeraj Sood.
