Ziddi Dil Maane Na actor Aditya Deshmukh, known for his roles in shows like Punar Vivah, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Suhaagan, recently made his maiden visit to Vaishno Devi. He expressed his happiness at ending the year with the blessings of Goddess Vaishno Devi.
He shared, "I went to Vaishno Devi for the first time in my life, and what an experience it was. I can't express it in words. I was going through a lot of challenges in my life and wanted answers. I felt like she was calling me, and I thought I should go and visit. It truly felt like she wanted to see me."
However, Aditya confessed that walking all the way to the divine temple was not an easy task. "Climbing 14 kilometers is not easy. The challenges included low oxygen levels, a drop in temperature, and even rain. When we got close to the temple, we removed our shoes and socks. We were shivering uncontrollably—it felt like we were walking on an ice slab."
With the new year 2025 just around the corner, Aditya shared his plans, revealing that he and his co-actors are planning a night out. He said, "We're thinking of collaborating and having a great start to the year. We plan to celebrate it in an interesting, adventurous way. This year has been fantastic—I've traveled to many places, and it's been an adventurous journey for me."
Aditya also mentioned his tradition of working on January 1st, a practice he holds dear. "It's a very old-school belief, but I love it. There's a saying that working on the first day of the year brings more work throughout the year. I'm expecting a lot of great things in 2025," he shared.
Interestingly, Aditya doesn't believe in rigid resolutions anymore. "A lot happened in 2024, and it taught me valuable lessons. Now, I'll ensure that I prioritize those lessons in my life. They've always been important to me," he said.
Reflecting on his achievements, he revealed that his 2024 resolution to visit Bali became a reality. As for 2025, he plans to travel even more, possibly solo or with friends.
Aditya also spoke about health-related resolutions, acknowledging the dedication they require. "You have to be very focused on what you eat, your workouts, and your overall routine. Honestly, I was able to cover 28 kilometers at Vaishno Devi because I took care of my health—both mentally and physically. That's the most important thing to work on," he emphasized.
While he doesn't believe New Year and resolutions are overhyped, he stressed their importance. "Having resolutions is crucial. It's important to stay focused and have an agenda in life. Without it, you risk taking things for granted, and the year will just slip away. Look, 2024 is already over, and 2025 will pass by too if there's no agenda or resolution in life," Aditya concluded.
