Is everything fine between Govinda and Anurag Basu now?

Knock your memory of 2017... You might remember Anurag Basu's film "Jagga Jasoos" made many headlines from their lead actors Ranbir Kapoor - Katrina Kaif, music, delay in release, to the clash of the filmmaker with Govinda.

While very few people knew that Govinda was also a part of the film. It all came into limelight when a picture of the talented actor went viral on the internet that also featured Kaif and Kapoor in the frame. Soon everyone got to know that Govinda had a special cameo in the film for which he had shot on the first few days of the shoot despite his ill health. However, the film took ample amount of time to release which ended up many changes in the film due to which Govinda's role was chopped-off from the film.

In an interview, Govinda had also shared his point of view and how upset he was with the decision of the makers. While Basu did apologize to the actor but that didn't work for the actor.

So, when Govinda and Anurag finally met for the first time since the Jagga Jasoos fiasco at Super Dance Chapter 2, according to a leading tabloid, Govinda complimented Anurag's movie "Barfi" when a contestant performed on the song 'Itti Si Hasi'.

Govinda said, "I didn't watch Barfi initially because I don't watch a film if I don't like its title. But later on, my wife (Sunita Ahuja) strongly recommended the film to me, arguing, 'The director's thinking (soch) isn't wrong."
