Iqbal Khan takes to hosting..

The hot favorite Iqbal Khan who won many a hearts as the Rockstar Angad in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai will now be seen as a host for the very first time with 9X’ gripping show on supernatural stories, ‘Sambhav Kya?’ from 10th October, 10-11 PM, every Friday and Saturday.

What made you accept hosting Sambhav Kya?
I have never said no to any kind of work that has come my way. As far as my television career goes, I have always tried to do something different, and hosting ‘Sambhav Kya?’ is my next stop. I am really excited to play host here.

As a host, do you believe in the concept of the show?
I do believe that a supernatural power does exist, though I have never seen it. I also believe that every individual has a power within him which will be experienced once in a lifetime.

One story from the show that caught your eye…
Well, I cannot share with you the stories of the show right now. But whenever I had to talk about such strange yet true experiences, I used to get astonished hearing them. The most memorable story to me is the one where a house all of a sudden gets into fire and minutes later, the fire gets extinguished completely all by itself.
 
What were the preparations that you did as a host?
I did not have to put much of an effort to hosting as I am not getting into any character here..
 
Will you be open to hosting after this?
I have never said no to anything. But as far as my next project is concerned, the decision will depend on what I get.

The TRPs of Waaris is not doing well. What do you have to say for this?
Well, I really do not understand this TRP concept and it is sometimes weird when they talk of it. So no comments here please.

What about doing a mytho or a role of a young guy, something on the lines of Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai?
Why not?? I am not too old to play the role of a young guy. If the script is convincing enough, then it is fine for me.
 
If given a chance which co-host you would ask for?
Salma Hayek… (laughs) I think Bipasha Basu will suit the mood of this show.
 
Have you taken any tips from Siddharth Kak, the producer of Sambhav Kya?
Siddharthji is always present on the sets and tells me whenever I go wrong. He has been a great inspiration as far as my hosting stint in this show is concerned.
