IPL 8 India Ka Tyohaar; a hit or a miss!

IPL Season 8 2015 popularly trending as 'India ka Tyohaar' kick started with a bang with an Opening Ceremony where our stars performed to some thumping beats from their top dance numbers. Present there were Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Pritam Chakraborty, who took the audience aboard with their spectacular performances.

Music director Pritam Chakraborty kick started the opening ceremony with a Rabindra Sangeet - Anandaloke. Taking the event ahead Saif Ali Khan the host for the evening made a faux pas by stammering with his script and also fumbling on words at regular intervals. Making the gala a low affair.

However, Bollywood's hearththrob Hrithik Roshan kept the audience glued to their seats with his rocking performance on his famous dance numbers. Shahid Kapoor did have some oops! moments when he started with his performance. At first he dashed into the stage with his bike and then stumbled on the stage again when he was just about to start with his performance. But all this didn't deter him and he managed to pull up the dance very well keeping the spirits high in the air.

Leggy actress Anushka Sharma not only entertained the audience but also kept her beau Virat Kohli all engrossed in her moves. The handsome cricketer Virat Kohli was snapped blushing and enjoying his lady love's performance.

The rock band performance by Farhan Akhtar and his band took the Salt Lake Stadium with a storm with their foot tapping numbers.

The Opening Ceremony of IPL Season 8, which was high on expectations, did fail to live up to its promise at some instances, but all in all it winded up on a pretty note. We hope to see some more eye catching stuffs this IPL Season.
