Internet goes for a frenzy as Kajol playfully probes about the box office collection of SRK's 'Pathaan'

The iconic duo of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan has left an indelible mark on Bollywood cinema with their historic onscreen collaborations spanning three decades. Not only their on-screen chemistry but also their off-screen friendship is loved by the fans.

However, a recent interview has stirred up questions among Shah Rukh Khan's fans regarding the nature of Kajol's friendship with him. 

The controversy arose when a viral clip surfaced, showing Kajol playfully inquiring about the box office performance of Shah Rukh's blockbuster film Pathaan.

During an interview with Live Hindustan, when asked what she would ask her longtime collaborator Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol took a moment to ponder before humorously posing the question, "How much did Pathaan really make?"

The internet swiftly reacted to Kajol's remark, with many speculating about the status of her friendship with Shah Rukh. Some individuals highlighted the valid confusion surrounding a film's projected earnings versus its actual box office collections. It is common for films to be hyped and projected to make substantial profits, but the reality can sometimes differ.

Several users also pointed out that the question of Pathaan's box office collection should be directed to Aditya Chopra, Kajol's brother-in-law, as his production company, Yash Raj Films, was responsible for the tentpole spy thriller. According to the latest reports, Pathaan is estimated to have made approximately ₹665 crore in India.
