Indraneil Sengupta as Daksh in Doli Saje Ke

Indraneil enters "Doli Saja Ke" as the new love interest of Anupama, being played by Barkha thus promising to bring back some old memories for the viewers.

In the serial Doli Saja Ke, the story has reached the point where Anupama, being played by Barkha has lost her husband Chaitanya, played by Amit Sareen. Now the story is going to take a new turn with the entry of a new love interest for Anupama. This part is being played by none other than Indraneil Sengupta.

Indraneil is going to play the role of Daksh a rich boy with lot of attitude. He will be falling in love with Anupama in the story. Indraneil himself is quite excited about this new role but for reasons other than the role being a challenging one. “When they offered me the role I agreed immediately. It was more because I could now get the chance to work again with Barkha.” According to him to work together with Barkha and she as a co-star is fabulous, something he is really looking forward to. He is also doing a film side by side so how does he plan to manage both or if this is just a cameo role? “No, it’s very much a lead role. I can’t go into details about the film just now. Ten days shooting has been done while next one is in January. So I have some free time in hand. I am sure even those ten days we can easily manage something.”

Will Anupama get out of her mourning for Chaitanya and accept Daksh? This is something Indraneil did not want to comment on, “If I reveal this part then all charm will be gone from the story.” Definitely all the fans of Indraneil and Barkha will now be happy to see this Jodi again back on Television together, whatever may be the story line.
