Indian Idol gets its Top Three..

Superstar Dharmendra had heralded Swaroop Khan as a bright talent for whom 'Sky is the limit'. Alas, as Swaroop's dream of making it to the Top 3 of Sony's Indian Idol will soon come crashing!

In tonight's episode, the Rajasthani folk singer will be the one getting eliminated, courtesy less junta votes. This gives the show the Top 3 of this season's Idol in Bhoomi Trivedi, Sreeram Ramachandra and Rakesh Maini.

A little birdie tells us, "Swaroop was a gem that the judges had got in the audition stage. Swaroop who was used to singing only the folk genre of songs got into the groove of singing all kinds of songs pretty quickly. He impressed the judges with his voice range, but could not maintain the level of top notch performances week after week. In yesterday's gala episode, the judges were bit unhappy with his voice range and had asked him to improve".

Next week's Gala episode will see John Abraham and Aamir Khan as celebrity guests.

As we gear up for the Grand Finale of this Season's Indian Idol, it's time for the three finalists to sweat it out before they face the Acid Test…
