New Delhi, June 4 (IANS) Singer Shubha Mudgal, composer Debojyoti Mishra and lyricist Sam Panchmukhi have come together and created a song for World Environment Day being observed Sunday.

'Music has always been used as a powerful tool for communicating important messages to members of the public. I therefore feel fortunate to have been invited to lend my voice to a song on a subject of such compelling importance,' Mugdal said.

Mishra, who is known for his work in the film 'Raincoat', is confident that the song will make everyone think and wonder about the wonders of nature.

Earlier this week, International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) and United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) partnered to protect the environment by saving forests. And for the first time, India is the global host of United Nations Environment Day this year.
