Veteran actress Zeenat Aman is once again winning hearts on social media with yet another gem from her treasure trove of memories. Known as the “anecdote queen” by fans and followers, Zeenat took to Instagram and revisited a breezy, sun-soaked memory from the 1983 film Pukar, offering fans a delightful behind-the-scenes peek into the shooting of the popular song Samundar Mein Naha Ke.

In her candid and charming post, the actress set the tone with a relatable summer remark: “It’s just so damn hot!”, before leading fans into the story behind the iconic beach song featuring none other than Amitabh Bachchan. She recalled how the song was filmed on a serene, almost deserted beach in Goa, describing the coastal town of the early 80s as “quiet, idyllic and unpeopled.”

With her signature wit, Zeenat humorously confessed that her role in the sequence was simple, to look pretty! Dressed in a striking white outfit, with a hint of glam, she playfully rolled in the waves while Amitabh Bachchan danced around her with what she fondly called “bird-of-paradise energy.”

However, not everything was as effortless as it seemed. Zeenat revealed that she doesn’t know how to swim, and shooting in the ocean tested her nerves. From swallowing seawater to getting sand in all the wrong places, the experience was far from glamorous. Yet, with her usual grace, she managed to pull off the role of a stunning “jal pari” (mermaid) convincingly.

Adding to the emotional depth of her post, Zeenat reminded fans that this was Amitabh Bachchan’s first shoot after recovering from his near-fatal accident on the sets of Coolie. The country had collectively prayed for his recovery, and the atmosphere on set during Pukar was filled with hope and joy.

From offering parenting tips to opening up about her career and personal views, Zeenat Aman’s Instagram presence continues to be a refreshing mix of nostalgia and wisdom. With every post, she proves that stories from the golden era of Bollywood still hold a special place in the hearts of fans.

And as always, this post too had fans and celebrities showering love in the comments, proving once again, Zeenat Aman’s words are as timeless as her charm.
