India experience was awesome: Winfrey

Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS) International talk show queen Oprah Winfrey describes her India visit as an "awesome" experience.

"...Great to travel, but even greater to back in beautiful USA. India experience was Awesome. Expands your humanity," the 57-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Winfrey, who landed here Jan 16, attended many functions in India including a dinner hosted by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej. She met Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's daughter.

She also enthralled literary lovers at the Jaipur Literature Festival and tried to connect to people with her message on education, awareness and women empowerment.
