'India and Pakistan are one country for me' - Yasir Shah

Yasir Shah the very popular model from Karachi, Pakistan came down to India nine months ago, seeking a career in acting.

The actor who made his television debut with Khwaish on Sony was in Mumbai this year on 15th August, India’s Independence Day. “This is the first time I got a chance to see the celebrations of Independence Day in India”, says the actor.

Recollecting the days when he moved to India, Yasir quips, “When I came down from Karachi to Mumbai, I found both the cities to be very much similar. Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day on August 14th, one day before India does. We too start out day there by hoisting flags in schools, colleges and in residential societies. Our celebration is more or less similar to what I saw here this year. To me, India and Pakistan are not two different countries, but one!!”

Well, as Yasir says, ‘Dharti Sunehri Ambar Neela Har Mausam Rangeela Aisa Des Hai Mera!!’ Way to go Yasir!!

i only want to say one thing.. god created only one world.. we humans have divided it.. pakistan and india may be two countries on the map but really, i would say they are one.. so i agree with Yasir.. hope he makes a good career, wherever he is, Insha-Allah...

I am totally agree with him, even for me Pakistan and India are one. Very sweet of him to think like that. I born in Pakistan, but always count myself a part of India. Thats why since 3 yrs i am in IF, and met sooooooooooo many lovely Indians here.
