Getting to share a moment with the legendary poet, lyricist and filmmaker Gulzar is a dream for many. The poet is immensely respected and adored by all the members of the fraternity and looks like Vicky Kaushal just got lucky as he shared a candid conversation with him.
Vicky Kaushal recently took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of his with Gulzar Sahaab which was probably captured by Meghna Gulzar. In the picture, the two can be seen smiling while having a candid conversation. He added a white hear in the caption and also tagged Meghna.
For the unversed, Vicky is currently preparing for his upcoming film Sam Bahadur which is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar. A few days ago the actor had shared a picture of the script along with some pictures of Marshal Sam Mankekshaw. He wrote, "Here we go… Prep starts!!! #SAMBAHADUR".
The biographical drama Sam Bahadur revolves around the life of Sam Manekshaw, one of India's greatest military heroes. When India and Pakistan engaged in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, he served as Chief of the Army Staff.
The film will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Meghna Gulzar. In addition to Vicky, Sanya Malhotra plays Sam's wife in the movie, while Fatima Sana Shaikh plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
On the 106th anniversary of Sam Manekshaw's birth, Vicky announced Sam Bahadur officially. He posted a video with lyricist Gulzar's voice on social media. He wrote, "The man. The legend. The brave heart. Our Samबहादुर... On the birth anniversary of Field Marshal #SamManekshaw, his story has found its name. #SamBahadur".
Meanwhile, Vicky will co-star in Govinda Naam Mera with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in addition to Sam Bahadur. Additionally, he will make his first appearance alongside Sara Ali Khan in the upcoming untitled film by director Laxman Utekar.
