In conversation: Sudhir Pandey talks about his role in Krishan Kanhaiya and much more...

Veteran actor Sudhir Pandey needs no introduction.

Having spent a long time in the industry, the experienced actor will now be seen on SAB TV's upcoming presentation, Krishan Kanhaiya.

Sudhir will be seen as the head of the family, Bansilal. Let's find out Bansilal's equation with the other members of the family...

Sudhir said, "Bansilal will be seen as a responsible person who feels bad about his son, Kanhaiya's unsuccessful career. Along with it, he is also proud that Kanhaiya does not give up and is a hard working person.  He will have some knok-jhok's with his wife too. Bansilal is extremely attached to his grandchild."

Since Sudhir has done a host of films and television, we went on to ask him about the new age cinema and television.

The actor elaborated, "I stopped shooting for Balika Vadhu recently and took this show. It is very difficult for me to manage two daily soaps. I also get offers for films, but they come in at the last minute and giving them a nod only means breaking the routine of daily soaps. Talking about the kind of concepts coming in these days, be it films or television, I feel that the new age films and television stand no comparison in front of the way shows were made earlier. Yes, there are some projects which release and garner acceptance too but an actor cannot survive by doing those shows."

Shedding some light on experimenting with new concepts he stated, "Any creative person can never be content with what he is doing. There is always a hunger to improve and put in ones best. The best never comes in accordance to an actor's expectations and that urge drives us to experiment all the more."
