Imlie actress Mayuri Deshmukh: I will not do something just for being in the limelight

Actress Mayuri Deshmukh is someone who believes in 'Inspiring and not impressing'. The actress who is quite vocal about her love for her craft believes that she is not here to fit into any category.

She says "This is something I remind myself every day, I don't need to fit in any box. I am who I am and there will be a customized box created for me. I will not do something just for being in the limelight. As an actor, I always say this to myself, that I don't have to fall prey to all these things! I am here for the love of my craft. And doing what you love can take away every pain from your life. And I am so glad that I chose what I chose because my work is worship for me. And I try reminding that to myself. So I try and distance myself from these things because in the entertainment business some things are frivolous. No matter what stage you are on, you have to always remind yourself why you are here in the first place. And I hope to keep these things intact."
