Chris Rock has finally spoken up about the Oscars 2022 incident. After a slew of celebrities weighed in on Will Smith's altercation with the comedian, Rock addressed the subject for the first time at his standup gig in Boston, where he spoke to the audience about what happened and made a brief statement before his set.

After being smacked by Will Smith on the Oscars stage, Chris Rock isn't in the mood to tear him down, and when asked about the event for the first time, he didn't have much to say. After receiving a standing ovation from the audience, Rock began his new standup show in Boston by addressing the Oscars incident.

Reportedly, he then remarked, in response to the Oscars squabble, "What did you think of your weekend?

"I don't have a lot to say about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I wrote an entire show about it before this weekend. I'm still trying to figure out what happened. So, at some time, I'm going to talk about that nonsense. It will be both serious and humorous.”

According to a news report, after a member of his crowd yelled at him during his show, “F**k Will Smith!" Chris continued to remain silent, adding, "I'm going to tell some jokes" and ''It's good to be outside."

Apart from Rock, Oscars 2022 hosts Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes also addressed the incident during their recent interviews and called the whole episode of Will Smith walking up to the stage and slapping Chris "sickening."
