I’m excited to play Cheeni as she’s quite a layered character: Seerat Kapoor of ‘Imlie’

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ has recently taken a leap. Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer who played the characters of Aryan and Imlie bid adieu to the show and new generation have entered. Actors Megha Chakroborty, Karan Vohra and Seerat Kapoor will be seen playing pivotal roles of Imlie, Atharva and Cheeni.

India Forums got in touch with Seerat and asked her about entering the show and if she’s nervous. She said, “More than being nervous, I’m excited and anticipating the reactions of the fans and viewers. The show has been quite popular and have got the love from the audiences and I hope we get the same amount of love for the new chapter in the show”.

Talking about connecting with Sumbul and Fahmaan, Seerat said, “I know Sumbul from before. She has worked with my brother Viraj and she’s been quite supportive and motivating”.

When asked if she’s ready for her character turning negative, she said, “I don’t believe much in character turning negative. Cheeni has her own journey and issues she has faced earlier in her life which has impacted her overall personality. I’m really liking the shades and layered character that I’ve got to portray”.
