If I can’t enjoy what I am hearing, I can't do it: Nimrit Kaur on not taking up music video with Fahmaan Khan

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia won a lot of hearts with her stint in Bigg Boss 16. The actress, who took a while to choose her first project post her stint in the show came to an end, spoke to us about the reason behind the same and also stated why did she choose 'Zihaal e misskin' over other songs her name was associated with. 

We asked Nimrit: Post Bigg Boss your name was associated with a lot of songs, but mainly a song with Fahmaan was talked about the most. However, it did not materialise. What was it about this song for you? That one driving factor? 

To this, the actress said, ''I think it is very important for me to relate to a song. If I listen to a song and I like it and want to listen to it again, this is important to me. If I can’t enjoy what I am hearing, I can't do it. See, everyone is very talented out there, however, everyone has a different taste and different genre. I loved the song when I first heard it. Then I can bring my 200 per cent. As an actor, I know I can bring my conviction to the table but to have that kind of belief in a project should be there. If I do something I want to be fully involved in it. With 'Zihaal e misskin', it clicked.''
