Earlier last week, Idris Elba revealed he had the coronavirus, and his wife willingly decided to be by his side and the couple adopted self-quarantine. Now, a recent report suggests that his wife was also tested positive for coronavirus.

In a video interaction with Oprah Winfrey, on Saturday Sabrina sat alongside her husband inside their quarantine in New Mexico and revealed that she had just found out the following morning that she has tested positive for the virus.

“I’ve been tested -- actually, I found out this morning Oprah, that I tested positive,” Sabrina said.

Defending their decision to isolate together, Sabrina mentioned that she was not surprised and never questioned staying with her husband after his confirmed infection.

Speaking to Oprah on a live stream for Apple TV+ series Oprah Talks, Sabrina further added: “I wanted to be with him. That is the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care. I could have made a decision to maybe put myself in a separate room or stay away and I’m sure that people are making those tough decisions. But I made the decision to want to be with him ... and still, touch him.”

Sabrina wasn't surprised, as she was already en route to being with her husband when he was awaiting his test results and rushed to be by his side. "I wanted to be with him," she said. "That's the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care."

Apart from Idris and Sabrina, several celebrities have been tested positive with COVID-19 and there has been no stopping to this list. This unfortunate event has been a global catastrophe as Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks and his wife, actor Rita Wilson, British actor Idris Elba, former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, Rachel Matthews, Daniel Dae Kim, Kristofer Hivju and celebrated TV host Andy Cohen were diagnosed with the disease.
