Kim Sae-Ron's husband enters the Kim Soo-Hyun matter; denies abuse, terminated pregnancy and more

Kim Sae-ron’s husband has finally come out in the open. The actress’ parents had said that they were unaware about the marriage. In a statement to Garo sero, he said that he met her in November 2024 via an acquaintance. It seems they soon fell head over heels in love. He has claimed that Kim Sae-ron visited him thrice travelling to the US. The person has not disclosed his name but says that her coming over to the US is proof that he was not an abusive partner. Kim Sae-ron’s husband said he is willing to provide evidences in the Court of Law if there is a need for the same.

He said that they married in January in a quiet ceremony in the US. It seems some people from the US were witnesses. A marriage certificate has been shared with Garosero that shows a marriage registered in New Jersey. The husband said that the actress was never pregnant as she took birth control pills. Within months the couple understood that their quick decision to marry was made in a haste. They did not factor in the impact of the long distance, their contrasting personalities and how it would affect people around them. Kim Sae-ron’s husband said he did his best to support her financially whenever she came to the US.

He said that it was impossible that she was abused in the US as he lives in a complex with neighbours in close quarters. The man said cases of domestic assault are taken very seriously in the States and he has got a good and thorough upbringing. Kim Sae-ron’s husband said that he got messages about abusive the late actress from March 18, 2025. He said he replied back to those messages and even threatened police complaint against the friend of the actress who claimed that he was her former ex-boyfriend. Now, her parents have claimed that this other guy only dated her for a month.

The husband said it is untrue that she stayed in the marriage as she was threatened. It seems they were quietly working towards annulling the marriage without making much noise. He has blamed Lee Jin Ho, director Kwak Tae Young and former agency for spreading malicious news about the late actress.
