For the uninformed, Ibrahim and Khushi's Naadaniyan did not receive good response from the viewers. Both Khushi and Ibrahim were subjected to heavy social media trolling too. Veteran actress and Ibrahim's grand mother Sharmila Tagore also spoke about the film and stated that the film was 'bad,' however, Ibrahim looked handsome. According to a report in Times Now, the veteran actress said, ''Ibrahim's film was not good, but he still looks very handsome. He has tried his best. These things shouldn't really be said in front of everyone, but honestly, the picture isn't great. Ultimately, the picture has to be good.''
Naadaniyan also starred popular faces like Jugal Hansraj, Juhi Chawla, Mahimma Choudhary, Apoorva Mukhija and others in pivotal roles.
