"I wouldn't be here today, if..." says Deepika Padukone as sh gets emotional talking about Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham's Pathaan has dominated the box office and how. Since its release, the film has been smashing box office records. In the midst of the success, SRK, Deepika, John, and Siddharth Anand made the decision to get together to discuss the historic success the movie had at the box office around the world. At a press conference conducted on Monday in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan spoke with the media and shared his excitement at the movie's success.

In the media event Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone engaged in fun banter, while Shah Rukh also kissed John on his cheeks displaying their bromance. 

But here's another adorable moment from the press meet of Pathaan!  When asked about the chemistry between Deepika and Shah Rukh, the actress got emotional and was quoted saying ‘It was interesting that the chemistry is still so palpable' She said that their characters were so different in Pathaan, that she doesn't think the audience has seen them playing this earlier. Whether it's Om shanti Om, Happy New Year or Chennai Express, what makes it special is the relationship and love that we share.’ 

Deepika further added ‘I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Shah Rukh Khan and his vision for me. I had never been on a film set before Om Shanti Om, but he has given me so much confidence which even he isn't aware about that translates on the screen.’

For the unversed, Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role, a RAW agent who teams up with Deepika Padukone's character to tackle a terror threat from agent-gone-rogue Jim, played by John Abraham
