I would love to play a character which is completely unlike me in real life - Rashmi Gupta

The beautiful actor Rashmi Gupta, who was earlier seen on the popular Life OK show- Mere Rang Mein Ranganewali, has recently joined the cast of Yeh Vaada Raha on Zee TV. Let's find out more in a candid conversation with her. 

I come from a small town where people are of a traditional mind set and do not think big. I took an initiative to move to Mumbai and work hard to make a fine name. I am glad to be a part of an industry where I am loved, respected and treated like family. 

I feel fortunate enough to have received love and respectful and have no regret with the kind of work I have done in the past. It has been a great journey so far.

I would love to play a character which is completely unlike me in real life, so that I can take up the challenge of justifying it. That would give me exposure to learn more. Also, I would love to portray a negative character. 

I feel that everyone should aspire to set a benchmark, to prove all those people wrong who spoke negative about you. While, people think that one cannot survive in this industry with a clean image, I aspire to do some great work with a clean image and prove them wrong. 

I like dancing, cooking and shopping!
