"I will try to conceive & portray it as per brief given to me - Moon Banerjee on entering 'Sasural Simar Ka 2'

Moon Banerjee will soon be entering Sasural Simar Ka. The actor is all set to replace Shital Thakkar, who was playing the character of Sandhya. Moon Banerjee is a well-known actress who was previously seen in projects like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa, and Muskaan to name a few.

India Forums got in touch with Moon Banerjee to know more about the same, 

1. You are going to play a character which is already played by someone, what do you think will be your addition to the character?

I will try to conceive and portray it as per the brief given to me by the makers and create as much value as i can as an actor in terms of my sensibility and understanding

2. How much are you enjoying portraying the character?

I am loving the role and my look I have been playing mother's roles, but the look of the character is very close to my personality and of course playing the elder Bahu of the house whose also a mother is something new comparatively

3.How is it to play a character which is already played by someone?

It's a very fresh and new feeling something that I haven't experienced before so as of now started the process I am striving to do full justice to the part.

Sasural Simar Ka 2 started with Gitanjali Devi entrusting Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer.
