Bollywood celebrities have finally started to step out of their houses as the government eased the lockdown restrictions with 'Unlock 1.0 in Maharashtra'. Recently, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Rhea Chakraborty and many more were snapped around the city.

Meanwhile, filmmakers and producers have finally breathed a sigh of relief as Maharashtra Government has granted permission to Shooting of films, television serials and digital series in non-containment zones in Maharashtra in the latest phase of the lockdown with certain conditions.

Many actors have pulled up their socks and are ready to return on sets. However veteran actor Shakti Kapoor does not seem to be in favour of this decision. He is also skeptical of Shraddha Kapoor resuming her work.

In a recent interaction with ETimes, Shakti revealed that he is not comfortable with Bollywood commencing shoots of their stalled projects so soon.

He said, “I will not go out and work for now, nor will I allow my daughter Shraddha to resume work. I don’t think the threat is gone. I feel the worst is yet to come. I won’t let my children out for now. I know work is important but not at the cost of one's life. It will be very chaotic if people start shooting now. I tell industry people in our group that it is better to wait than pay hospital bills. It is still a very bad state of affairs outside.”

The 67-year-old actor even highlighted the current situation in Maharashtra and mentioned that There are no beds in the hospitals and they are charging a bomb to treat people. He also referred to a recent news where a person was kept tied to his bed in the hospital because he was unable to pay his bills.

“I am going to make a video on this too. The world has become a very sad place now. There is no humanity left,” added Shakti Kapoor

The veteran actor recently took to his Instagram handle and shared a fun video of himself carrying an empty plastic drum as he walked towards the gate of his building.

To be fair, I agree that resuming shoots is not a good idea right now. However, your daughter is grown, so maybe change the way you speak and your mindset.
