"I was not aware about the name of the show"

We asked her what made her take up the sequel of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Shrenu says, "I was not aware about the sequel. I was told that they are shooting for a new show named Aastha and till the promos went on air, I was clueless about the name of the show."

"I was at Baroda chilling in my home town when I saw the promos of the show Iss Pyaar ko kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir. I was shocked to see those promos. I was clueless that all this would happen but then later I was upset with the way things came out in front of me. However, later my inhibitions got cleared and I got to know that Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir is completely different from what it is being portrayed," asserted Shrenu.

Shrenu is happy that her fans have accepted her in her new show and she said, "'I would like to thank my fans as they are now accepting us in a very positive manner. My on-screen chemistry with Avinash Sachdev has given a new dimension altogether."

So how similar is Shrenu in real and reel life? She says, "Well, I am very much like Aastha in real life. Shrenu and Aastha both keep on falling and stumbling and both of them in some or the other way behave in a similar manner."

Talking about her height issues when compared to her co-star Avinash Sachdev she says, "The biggest difference we have is of our height. I have to climb the patla (a wooden stool) to match my height with Avinash. Before Avinash reaches on the sets of the show the patla is in place and I am ready for the shoot," concludes Shrenu.
