'I want to take up Hindi shows' - Ashutosh Kulkarni

Ashutosh Kulkarni who plays the role of Ajay Raje Shankarshet in Star Pravah’s ‘Goshta EkaLagnachi’ is thrilled to be part of the show.

“I am playing the character of a boy who belongs to a very royal, but orthodox family. He is very educated, but gets dominated by his father. Ajay gets married to a beautiful girl with liberated views, Roopa Desai (played by Urmila Kanitkar who was earlier in Maayka), but is helpless when his father and aunt torture his wife”, says Ashutosh.

Ashutosh is basically from Pune. He has been part of theater from childhood, and has also been the Assistant Director for ‘Checkmate’.

The actor aims to be part of the Hindi television industry. “I want to take up Hindi shows, and I am looking for good offers. If I get decent offers in Marathi serials, I don’t mind taking that too”.
