'I took up Nach Baliye because of Barkha' - Indraneil Sengupta

Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht are on course to give their first performance on the stage of Nach Baliye on 23rd November. Here is a chit-chat with Indraneil..

After seeing their magical chemistry in 'Ek Radha aur Ek Shyam', viewers get an opportunity to see Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht again together on the dance floor of Nach Baliye, as the 11th Jodi. They are all set to perform on November 23rd for the first time on this show. We caught up with Indraneil to know how it feels to be part of this show and how their experience has been till now.

When asked Indraneil ,how does he feel to be a part of Nach Baliye, he said, “It feels great to be on Nach Baliye and the only reason is that it makes Barkha happy. I have done this only for her because she loves dancing, and she always wanted to be a part of this show”. All the other couples are there since the beginning of this show. So, do you think this will work in your favor? “I don’t think we have an advantage over them. Infact, it’s a disadvantage because the other Jodi's have built a great rapport with the audience as well as the judges. We are new and still have to build our relationship with the others. Besides that, we are entering at a time when the expectations from us are very high, so we have the pressure of living up to it”.

Barkha is considered to be a great dancer. So, did he take any classes from her? “Well, Barkha is my greatest support on the show. She learns her dance steps, as well as mine, and teaches me at home”. From whom do you think, you will face the toughest competition? “I think everyone has become really good after all these weeks. We're now competing with the top 4, so every Jodi is tough competition to us”.

So, what can we expect from your Jodi, and what according to you will be your USP in the show? “Our USP is our sincerity towards this show, esp Barkha's. Barkha’s passion for dance is something you all should look out for", adds Indraneil.

It is definitely going to be fun watching this Jodi perform on stage. But will the other Jodi’s accept them in the show, is something to be watched out for!! We wish the Jodi “All the Best” to rock the dance floor!!
