"I thought the whole replacement story was an April Fool's joke"- Sonal Vengurlekar

The show, 'Yeh Vaada Raha' is doing well and the performance of the protagonist, Survi (Sonal Vengurlekar) is being appreciated.

However, amidst all of this, the rumours about actress Ragini Khanna replacing actress, Sonal Vengurlekar in the show hit the news recently. The producer of the show and Ragini, herself cleared the rumours and confirmed that she is not replacing Sonal.

We contacted Sonal, who confirmed saying, "Absolutely not! I am not getting replaced at all. I have no idea where do there rumours come from. I am very much a part of the show and will continue to be."

She added, "Initially, one of my friend saw this story and asked me if it is an April Fool's joke and if it is why does such a thing happen to you! I felt the same too that it may be an April Fool's joke (laughs). However, I had a meeting later with my producers who laughed and asked me not to pay attention to such rumours. They reaffirmed telling me that I am still in the show and will be in the future. I do my work with total conviction and want to keep doing that irrespective of all these rumours."

That's certainly a relief for all the fans of the show..!
