Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Meiin is riding high on success. As per the BARC chart, this week the show has secured second position with the TRP rating 3.1.

The current track of the show revolves around Harini finally accepting Devi as her mother. All credits to Virat, Sai and Pakhi who executed a play for Harini and showed her Devi’s pain. The skit had a positive impact on her and she accepted Devi.

For this particular sequence, actress Aishwarya Sharma got the opportunity of portraying Devyani’s character who’s mentally challenged. Aishwarya aced the part and received a lot of love from the viewers.

In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Aishwarya said, “Basically, Pakhi was aware that Devi doesn’t like her much, still she went ahead to help Virat and Sai so that Harini could accept Devyani as her mother. It was an enthralling experience to act as a mentally challenged for that sequence. It’s simply out of the world. I got to play so many emotions. I felt like I’m doing theatre as the entire ambience was such, be it lighting, costumes, stage etc. As an actor I observe each and every character around me be it reel or real, and notice their nuances. I had always noticed Mitali as she played Devyani”.

Sharing about an interesting incident that happened amidst shooting this particular sequence, Aishwarya added, “When I started performing the scene, the dialogues got over but I kept improvising it and the director didn’t say cut. After a while, somebody asked the director to say cut and post the shot the crew gave me a round of applause. The director also mentioned that he didn’t feel like saying a ‘cut’. It was quite an enriching and fulfilling experience”.

This woman needs to learn some modestly and humility. Jab dekho self praise mein or doing reels to garner attention.

Her acting of Devi was really nice

Someone teach this girl some modesty

I am not sure where this I,me,myself attitude will take her in career. In 200 episodes she did a decent 10 minutes performance for which we got an entire article. Please makers,IF and other media give credit to the remaining actors as well

When she praises herself it means she's laughing at herself....
How much round of applause does Mitali Nag need?

Ridiculous to say the least. Aiswarya ‘s performance was average and not on par with Mitali who is so natural and delightful in such a role. Mitali brings a rare kind of innocence to her portrayal that makes Devi so endearing and lovable. Aiswarya lacked that innocence and over acted the part. In the very next scene Mitali comes on stage stretching hands for the kid and with no dialogues ...that one scene is enough to prove she is the best. So much self praise is unwelcome . That too for someone who lacked any empathy for Devyani and it matters a lot. I wish director praised Mitali instead of Aiswarya for her stellar performance.

too much self praise and self obsession is not good , and tbh its like an insult to mithali she was doing an wonderful job for 200+ episodes and comparing one day performance to 200+ is such an insult , aur if it was that mindblowing theek hai but it was really an average performace tbh , iskeliyeh itni zor shor kyom

Lol, such self praise! How about praising Mitali who is actually playing the mentally challenged character than someone who did a 5min skit?!

Please stop focusing on one actor when there is a whole ensemble to talk and bring to the limelight deservingly.

Too much self praising and not a single appreciation for mitali for carrying the role from day 1. 🙄😷 I actually feel soo bad for mitali. 😕 did director felt the same during devi tai pulkit reunion after 10 years? Or during her break down in kidnap track ..?

This reminds me of biopic movies stars getting 1000 times appreciation and fame than the real person whose biopic is made.
