We have seen a lot of actors petting animals of different breeds, but has one ever thought of petting a stray?

Well Marina Kuwar, who is in talks for her stint on Zee TV's 'Qubool Hai' and has done a host of commercials, is an animal lover. And by animals, we mean the stray animals from the street.

The actor adopted a stray dog when he was 5 days old and also sheltered a cat whom she regularly feeds and looks after to ensure they are not malnourished.

Says Marina, "I have a dog named Sheru and I have been taking care of him since the time he was 5 days old. He is currently 18, which I do not think many dogs manage to survive till. Also, I found a stray cat named Katrina, who was found malnourished in my locality, and then I started feeding her well. She recently gave birth to four kittens, who occupy a corner in my house and I have named them Baby Doll, Bubbly, Munni and Sheela respectively."

Quite a Bollywood fanatic we must say!

When quizzed Mairna about her love for animals, she said, "Well, I have been fond of animals ever since I was a kid. I lived in Delhi before my career boosted in this field and I used to take care of them there too. Infact, my dog Sheru is a Delhite! Apart from my pets, I make sure I visit the Versova beach everyday and feed the animals chicken, pedigree and other dog food."
