I make sure I visit Mount Mary Church on my birthday if not shooting! - Aasiya Kazi

Aasiya Kazi who has been in talks for some time now due to stepping into the role of Ganga in Colors' Balika Vadhu post the exit of Sargun Mehta in the show. Keeping all of this aside, this pretty and petite December baby celebrates her birthday today. Well, what makes her birthday so special is her friends planning something special for her birthday.

When got in touch with the birthday to know about her birthday plans, she excitedly says, "Nothing is planned as of now. Last night my mother had called a few of my close friends to give me a surprise. One hilarious thing that happened with me was all of them came before midnight and I was just unaware of it. They were waiting for the clock to tick at midnight so that they could surprise me. I have an off today from my shoot so I can chill today for the whole day. Well, I might go out for dinner with my family. Besides this, my dear friend Karan Sharma (Sony TV's Ek Nayi Pehchaan fame) too visited me on my special day."

When asked about the best birthday gift she has received and she avers, "I have received a lot many birthday gifts. My dad gifted me a jewellery box, my brother got me a hand bag. My mother knows that I love dressing up and getting myself all decked up, so she surprised me with many dresses." 

Any ritual that Asiya follows on her birthday? "If I am not shooting, I make sure I visit the Mount Mary Church to seek blessings."

If got a chance to spend your birthday with a celebrity, who would it be? "Since Yuvraj Singh and I share the same birth date, I would like to go on a date with him."
