"I like to shop the most for rings and long chains" - Vrinda

Who doesn't love shopping? The pretty actress Vrinda Dawda aka Taani of Channel V's Dil Dostii Dance's fame is here with us on the hot seat of our 'The Confessions of Tellywood's Shopaholic' column this week, where she is confessing about her love for shopping. Let's hear what Vrinda has to share with us about her shopping interests and her dream shopping destinations.

Girls are crazy and mad for shopping and so am I but I do have a control on my shopping at times. I invest smartly in shopping now but earlier I used to feel like having all the things I liked. Now, I know what I want and I invest accordingly. I make sure that I should not repeat so as to look gorgeous and pretty while attending any event. So, I shop smartly.

How often do you go for shopping?

Every month I do shop for something (chuckles). I shop for the things according to my needs but I also go for buying things which I like; I am calculative in this case.

What do you shop the most for?

I shop for everything but being an accessory lover, I like to shop the most for rings and long chains, keeping accessories as my first priority while shopping. I also shop the most for heels and stilettos. These are my top favorite otherwise I shop for everything as per my need.

Your dream shopping destination?

Paris! It's the most amazing place to shop at but one should only dare to go there if your pockets are full enough to spend there (laughs). It's my dream shopping destination and I really hope that one day I would visit that place and shop for the things whatever I want from there. First, I have start saving for that from now.

Where do you prefer to shop in Mumbai?

I am sort of a branded person; I like to wear branded stuff. It's not like that I do not shop from street side or local places as I also shop from there sometimes if I really like something. I prefer to shop at Infinity (Malad), R City (Ghatkopar) and Palladium because I get all kinds of branded stuff from these malls.

What would you buy?

If given Rs. 10: A clutch. 
If given Rs. 100: A stole. 
If given Rs. 1000: I will pick up street side nice 2-3 tops. 
If given Rs. 1 Lakh: The whole mall (laughs). I think I can shop for everything in Rs. 1 Lakh from traditional, western, accessories and everything. 
If given Rs. 1 Crore: A house.
