What does fashion mean to you?
According to me fashion is being comfortable and confident. If you wear the right clothes a lot of confidence will be radiated from you.

Which is the one attire that can never go out of fashion?
Tees and Jeans.

Your favorite designer
Reza, he is the one who designs for all my shows and I share a very good rapport with him.

Favorite perfume
I like Christian Dior. And I find Benetton cheap and best.

Favorite line of bags and shoes
For bags I love collecting Prada, Gucci and Guess. For shoes I prefer Aldo and Guess.

Do you prefer make-up or being without it?
I have the confidence to carry myself without make-up.

Which brand of make-up do you usually favor?
M.A.C is always trustworthy. But I've found that Krylon and Derma are best suited for Indian shooting conditions.

Your favorite fashion destination?
Milan

Designer label or Platform ka maal?
I like to mix and match. I spend on brands only when it's worth. Otherwise when you're getting quality and comfort from stuff that you buy on Linking Road (Bandra) why spend a thousand times more?

What do you do on a bad hair day?
I apply serum and tie it. The serum sort of covers up your bad condition.

The accessories that you usually prefer…
I prefer belts for everyday. Otherwise I like wearing traditional jewelry in weddings etc.

Do you feel the electronic gadgets we carry reflect our style statement?
Nope. It doesn't matter whether you have a Reliance, Nokia or Blackberry phone; it's all in your mentality.

Who do you feel is the most influential trendsetter at present?
Rekha is a classic when it comes to style. Shilpa Shetty too understands her body very well and dresses accordingly.

Who is your style icon?
I like Kareena Kapoor. But I don't follow her every dress and try to emulate her fiercely. I just admire her for the way she dresses.

The hottest color this season…
Since its summer, all bright colors are in.

Do you take fashion advice from others or you follow your own instincts?
My mom is the best person I can go for shopping with. She knows exactly what I look good in. she understands me so well!
